Bride of But a Few Years Died of
Consumption at the Home of Parents,
Last Evening-------
Relatives are called to mourn the death of Mrs. Edward Peterson, whose death occured last evening at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Ashing, her demise being the result of consumption and dropsy with which she had been failing for some time.
The body was removed from 218 Exchange street this morning to the home of a sister, Mrs. Sam Connell and will remain until sent to near Carthage for the funeral and interment.
Effie Ashing was born a few miles southeast of Carthage, Ill, on April 27, 1889, and was married to Edward Peterson in Keokuk about two and one half years ago.
She leaves as surviving relatives a Connell and a brother Lennie Ashing.
