The death of Mrs. Elizabeth Clark took place last evening at 8 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. G. Humphrey, 1512 Park street. Mrs. Clark sustained a fall nearly two weeks ago, after which she took to her bed and never rallied. Up until that time she had not been in the best of health, but was able to be about the house.

Elizabeth Lane was born in Illinois August 11, 1846. When a small child she moved with her people to Kansas where she grew to womanhood. She was married to A. G. Clark at Nauvoo, Illinois, and soon after Mr. and Mrs. Clark came to Keokuk, where she has since resided, Mr. Clark having died several years ago.

She is survived by three children. They are: Mrs. J. G. Humphrey, of Keokuk; Mrs. A. l. Heaton, of Davenport, Iowa, and Mrs. Chas. Morton, of Denver; also by two step-children: Mrs. W. H. Johnson, of Gregory Landing, Mo., and Frank Clark, of Wyoming.

The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Humphrey, at 1512 Park street.
