DEATH IS MOURNED

Aged Woman Passed Away Early Sunday
Morning, After Life Well
Lived - 71 Years Old.

Sunday morning at 3:30 o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Mary Conway, one of Keokuk's highly respected and well beloved citizens, at her home 718 South Fifth street. Death was due to heart failure.

Mrs. Conway was seventy-one years of age and had been a resident of Keokuk for the past twenty-six years. She was born in Ballycroy, Mayo county, Ireland, and it was in that country that she was married to John Conway. They left in Ireland in 1873, coming to Keokuk and settling at their present home.

Mrs. Conway is survived by her husband and seven children. They are: Mrs. Anna Murphy, of South Dakota; Miss May Conway, of Boston, Mass.; Mrs. Joseph B. Reiss, of Memphis, Tenn.; John Conway, of Junction City, Mo., and Mrs. Helen C Smiley, of this city.

Mrs. Conway has been a life member of the Catholic church, and was a member of St. Peter's; also a member of the Rosary society. Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Catholic church tomorrow morning at nine o'clock, and the body will be interred in the Catholic cemetery.
