Mrs. W. H. Quarterman, Who Formally Made Keokuk Her Home, Passed Away

Word was received in this city Saturday of the death in Hutchinson, Kansas of Mrs. W. H. Quarterman, who was a former resident of Keokuk, and well known among the older people of this vicinity. No particulars regarding the death of the former citizen was received other than that the body will arrive here this morning at 7:35 over the "Q" from the south and funeral services will be conducted from the train in charge of I. S. Ackley.
W. H. Quarterman, the husband who survives, was probably better known here than his wife, having been empliyed (? employed) in several of the printing establishments of Keokuk a number of years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Quarterman had made their home in Kansas about 25 years ago.
The deceased was formerly Miss Elizabeth Walker of Farmington where she was born. One daughter besides the husband survived her.

May 1, 1910The funeral of the late Mrs. Quarterman is to be held this morning at 7:30 o'clock from the union station upon the arrival of the train bearing the remains. Rev. Foster will have charge of the services at the cemetery and the pall bearers will be A. J. Damond, Wm. B. Wooley, D. H. Annable, J. L. Canby, J. H. Nichols and Hugh Hodge.
