Mrs. Catherine Naeve, aged fifty-four years, died in Keokuk Monday morning at 9:15 at St. Joseph's hospital where she had been receiving treatment. Her demise is attributed to gallstones. Mrs. Naeve was formerly a resident of Montrose going to Keokuk about one year ago. She is survived by her mother and two sons, J.W. Fickle of Keokuk and a son who lives in the East.
The funeral service was held from the M.E. Church, of which she was a member, Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Chas. B. Hankins officiating. The remains were placed in the Naeve vault in the Montrose cemetery beside her husband who preceded her several years ago.
