MRS EDWARD MANCHEIM
Mrs. Edward (Adelaide) Mansheim, 79, Fort Madison, RR2, died at 11:55p.m. Sunday, Dec 3, at the Hospitality House, 702 Avenue D, following a short illness.
She was born in Fort Madison on July 3, 1893, and was a life long resident.
On Jan 28, 1919, at Fort Madison, she was married to Edward Mansheim, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, Edward of Fort Madison and Robert of Denmark and three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Agnes) Kruse, Houghton, Mrs. Erwin (Evelyn) Keisner, Fort Madison; and Mrs. Paul (Alice)Snyder Burlington; two brothers, Leonard and Bernard Bendlage, both of Fort Madison; a sister, Mrs Rose Decker of West Point, 20 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceed in death by a daughter, a sister,a brother, and a grandchild.
Her parents were Henry and Catherine Dittmer Bendlage.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph`s church with the Rev. P.J. Budrea officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 2 p.m. Tuesday by the Altar and Rosary Guild and at 7 p.m. by the parish at Nieters Chapel. Thefamily will meet friends from 7 to 9 Tuesday evening. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel
