Clark County, Mo., and Lived
in Keokuk Over 3 Years.

Henry Bender, a respected resident of Keokuk, died at 4:00 o'clock this morning, after three weeks suffering, from hemorrhages of the lungs. He was born in Clark county, Missouri, September 21, 1860, and had been a resident of Keokuk, about three years last fall, and on February 13, last, he suffered a sad bereavement in the death of his wife.

He is survived by five children, four daughters and one son.

Arrangements for the funeral had not been made.

The funeral of Henry Bender was held at St. Peter's Catholic church at 9 o'clock this morning, Rev. Father Gillespie conducting the services.
