____Mrs. Thomas Peevler, an old time resident of Sandusky, passed away Sunday morning at 11:30 o'clock after a long illness. The deceased had been troubled with complications for some time and had not been well during the past five years.
She was born in Kentucky, April 30, 1855, her maiden name being Ella Van Ausdall, and at the age of four years came to Sanduscky (*Sandusky), living there continuously ever since. Her marriage was to Thomas Peevler, who together with four children and two sisters, survive.
Mrs. Peevler was a member of the Christian church and before her death named the person she wished to act in charge of funeral services and the pallbearers to assist. Her wish will be carried out at the funeral tomorrow. Mrs. Charles Collins will have charge of the services, assisted by Rev. Eli Rhodes. The pallbearers will be her husband, two sons and Edward Peterson, Dr. Collins and Fred Bawden, friends of the family.
The surviving relatives are the following: Husband, Thomas Peevler; children, Henry, William, Mrs. Edward Peterson and Miss Merle Peevler; sisters, Mrs. W. S. Graft of Stanwood, Iowa; and Mrs. John Utley of Montrose.
