____Mrs. Hannah Lumberg of 1628 Exchange street, passed away this morning after a lingering illness. Mrs. Lumberg had been a resident of Keokuk for thirty-six years and was one of the city's most highly respected women. Her many friends here have learned with regret of her death and the sympathy of the community has been extended to the bereaved family.
Mrs. Lumberg was born near Orebro, Sweden on December 25, 1855, being, consequently, sixty years of age at the time of her death. The decedent came to the United States and to Keokuk from her native land in April 1880 and this city had been her home ever since.
She was a woman of many fine attributes, God fearing, charitable, kind and generous, a lover of her home and an affectionate mother. The following children survive: Arthur Lumberg, Clarence Lumberg and Mrs. Ellery Rumbaugh, all of this city. There is one grandson, Charles Rumbaugh. The funeral arrangements have not been completed.
