It becomes our painful duty to chronicle the death of Miss Cora A. Lauther, daughter of S. M. and C. J. Lauther of Washington township, who died last Wednesday morning at 2:30 o'clock at the youthful age of 16 years and 3 months, of typhoid fever. She was a beautiful and amiable maiden and was the center of a large circle of relatives, friends and acquaintances, who unite their heartfelt grief with that of the bereaved parents and sister. The funeral which took place from the residence Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock was largely attended.
