GLENN EDWARD TESTMAN
Aug. 1, 1914 - Aug 23, 1998Glenn Edward Testman, 84, a longtime resident of the Keokuk area, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1998, at the Keokuk Convalescent Center.
He was born on Aug. 1, 1914, the son of Walterman and Carrie Peterson Testman. He married Vivian Margaret Reeves, in January 1939. She preceded him in death on Dec. 21, 1991.
Survivors include; three daughters, Robin Testman Bailey, Mrs. Harry (Marian) Ealey and mrs. George (Pauline) Paris, all of Keokuk; a son, Kenneth E. Reeves of Citrus Heights, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Gates of Keokuk; Mrs. Gladys Laisle of Alexandria, Mo., and Mrs. William (Isabelle) Ewers of Pryor, Okla.; grandchildren, Jessica and Travis Nye and Charles Reeves II, and Carol (Reeves) Weber, all of Keokuk, Mrs. Mike (Cheryl) Luth of Hamilton, Ill., Paul Ealey of Phoenix, Ariz, David E. Paris of Overguard, Ariz., Debbie Eimer and Lori Scott, both of the Fort Madison area, James Reeves of South San Francisco, Mrs. Sharon Hafez of suburban Chicago; 18 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces; nephews; and other relatives.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Charles L. Reeves I, three brothers, Raymond, Clyde and Walter Testman, and a sister, Sarah Parrish.
Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, with the Rev. Bill Olmsted officiating.
Burial will be in the Scandinavian Cemetery in rural Keokuk. Visitation is after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the family meeting friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Keokuk Alzheimer's Association, the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
