Mrs. Theo M. Schoene

Mrs. Theo M. Schoene, 75, of Donnellson died Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 11:13 p.m. in Sacred Heart hospital, Ft. Madison, after a lengthy illness.

She was born Sept. 28, 1898 at Gladstone, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Ida Milligan.

The former Theo Milligan and Joe Painter were married Sept. 19, 1923. He preceded her in death. She late married George Schoene on Jan. 20, 1952. He survives.

She moved to Donnellson from Revere, Mo. She is a member of the United Methodist church of Donnellson. She was a retired bookkeeper having been employed by several banks.

Surviving are her husband; one step-daughter, Mrs. Dale (Betty) Newberry of Argyle; one sister, Mrs. Eula Burrell of Gulfport, Ill.; several nieces and nephews; three step-grandchildren and four step-great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, two sisters and one brother.

The funeral service was held in the Miller-Hofbauer Funeral Home, Donnellson, on Saturday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m., Bnrial(sp) was in the Embury Cemetery. The Rev. Clarence Lautt officiated.
