William Kilker died at his home, between Hamilton and Warsaw, Friday night at 10:30 o’clock. He has many friends in this city who will be sorry to hear of his death. He was one of the early settlers of Keokuk, and some thirty years ago moved to where he resided at the time of his demise. He was born in County Mayo, Ireland, August 15, 1828. He leaves a wife and six children to mourn his lost; four daughters, Mrs. William Wells, Misses Annie, Susie and two sons, Thomas and Willie, all of whom were at his beside at the time of his death.
