Lenora A. Renz
Mrs. Lenora A. Renz, 87, of Donnellson, died at 7:35am July 15, 1983, at the Ft. Madison Community Hospital.
Mrs. Renz was born April 26, 1896 at Kohoka Missouri. She had been a resident of Donnellson for 48 years and was a member of the st. Paul's United Church of Christ in Donnellson , the Friendship Circle of the church and the Donnellson Senior Citizens. She was a former teacher in Clark County, Missouri.
On May 19,1920 at Keokuk, she was married to William Renz, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Melvin (Leila) Harold of Grand Blanc Michigan and Mrs. Del (Dorothy) Grossman of Monterey Park, Calif. two sisters Edna Hunziker of Kohoka and Lyda Kinter of Carrollton, MO, and four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Her parents were Lewis and Catherine Kirchner Mulrer.
Funeral services were at 2pm Tuesday at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Jim Eads officiating. Burial was in the Evangelical cemetery near Donnellson.
The body was at the Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson. A memorial was established with the St. Paul's United Chruch of Christ.
Casket bearers were: Paul Passer, Harlan Hunzinker, Robert Hall, Eldred Klingler, Jerry Brunk and Dean Meinhardt.
