Elizabeth C. Curtis
Keokuk-Elizabeth C. Curtis, 92 a lifelong Montrose resident, died Saturday April 19, at the Montrose Care Center.
Mrs. Curtis was born Nov 30, 1983 (Yes it does say 1983, but must have been a mistake) She was a member of the Montrose Presbyterian church, Montrose Presbyterian Women, Montrose-Jefferson Township Farm Bureau Women, and was a charter member of the Crusaders Society.
On Dec 25, 1913 at Montrose she was married to Ralph David Curtis who died in 1963.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Harvey (Catherine) Seyb, Donellson, four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son. Her parents were Emil and Catherine Philp Johnson.
Funeral services were at 2pm Tuesday at the Montrose Presbyterian church. The Rev. James Fyfe officiated. Burial was in the Montrose Cemetery.
The body was at the Schmidt-Vigen Funeral Home, Keokuk.
A memorial was established with the Montrose Presbyterian church.
