Mike Alltop Dies in Chicago - Rites to be held here.
Michael Alltop, 34, radio repairman and commercial operator died on Saturday night at 11 o'clock in Chicago where he had been doing radio repair work for the past year. He had been ill for only a week.
The body arrived here this morning and was removed to the Greaves Mortuary where funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
Born at Fleminton W.V. on Oct 29, 1908, Mr. Alltop was known to hundreds of Keokuk people as "Mike" came to this city at an early age and resided here all of the remainder of his life until a year ago. He was married at Burlington on Feb 28, 1938 to June Kline who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter Sandra kay, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Roy S. Walsh, his grandmother Mrs. Mollie Alltop and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
