P. J. Roan's Death occurs here Friday.
Life long resident of Keokuk died at the home of his sister yesterday afternoon-Funeral to be held Sunday.
The death of Peter J. Roan life long resident of Keokuk occurred at the home of his sister Mrs. Delia Fallon 124 ____ eighteenth street at 4:15pm yesterday afternoon. He had been in failing health for the last ___ but was bedfast only four ___ before his death.
The son of James and ___ Roan he was born in Keokuk February 12, 1881 and spent all? of his life in this city receiving his education in the public schools.
Not regularly employed in recent years, he was regarded as an excellent mechanic and carpenter. He was not married and had? made his home with his sister? for many years.
He was a member of the St. Mary's? Catholic church.
Surviving him are two sisters, Mrs. Delia Fallon of Keokuk, Mrs. J. P. Lemaster of Eureka ___ and a number of nieces and nephews. A brother, Daniel Roan died two years ago.
The body will be removed from? the Greaves Mortuary to the residence of Mrs. Fallon this afternoon. Funeral services will be held from St. Mary's church __ 3:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
