Miss Van Doren dies at home here yesterday.
Life long resident of Lee County dies at 4:45 O'clock Yesterday Afternoon after Failing Health of Two Years.
Miss Etta May Van Doren, a lifelong resident of Lee County, died at her home, 722 Timea street at 4:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon following an illness of two years with complications.
Born in Lee County, MIss Van Doren was the daughter of James M and Fannie Mikesell Van Doren and spent her entire life in this vicinity. She was a member of the First Congregational Church.
Surviving her are her stepmother, Mrs. Ella Van Doren of St. Joseph, Mo and the following sisters and brothers: MIss Mary Van Doren, Miss Irene Van Doren, Miss Grace Van Doren, Charles, Edwward E and Frank Van Doren all of Keokuk. She also leaves a half brother Harry Van Doren and three half sisters, Mrs. Frank Hutton of St. Joseph Mo, Mrs. Forest Good of Vuero Tex and Mrs. Edward Schwab of Keokuk.
