Mrs. Emerson's Death Occurs Friday Nght
Services will be Held From the Home of Her Sister, Mrs. John Opstelten, Monday Afternoon at 3 o'clock.
Mrs. Belle P. Emerson passed away Friday at 10:40 p.m. and the funeral will be held from the residence of her sister, Mrs. John Opstelten, 1528 Morgan street, Monday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock. Belle Patterson was born at Lapeer, Michigan, on
May 29, 1868 but had lived in Keokuk practically all of her life. In 1895 she was united in marriage to Mont Emerson, who preceded his wife in death twenty-nine years ago. Mrs. Emerson was a member of the Presbyterian church of Hamilton.
Surviving Mrs. Emerson are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Emma Parker of Los Angeles, California, Mrs. Addie Griffith, of Lapeer, Michigan, G. W. Patterson of Alton, Illinois, John L. Patterson and Mrs. John Opstelten both of Keokuk.
