March 16, 1899

With the burial of Theodore K. Seeley, who died in Fort Madison March 1, the Sharon cemetery near LaCrew becomes the resting place of the man who did so much to beautify it. Out of nine in the Seeley family, six lie in Sharon cemetery, five children (one dying in infancy) and the father. Only the mother and two children still live.
