Jennie Drinkall

Jennie Louise Drinkall, 91, of Burlington, died at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born Dec. 19, 1910, in Denmark, she was the daughter of James and Lillian Ivens Bazel. She married Edwin Arthur Drinkall on Feb. 23, 1941, in Mediapolis. He died Aug. 13, 1959.

Mrs. Drinkall was a homemaker and a graduate of Mediapolis High School.

She was a past member of the Canasta Club in Mediapolis. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and loved to tat and make quilts. She especially loved dances.

Survivors include one granddaughter, Dawn M. Gilbert of Burlington; one great-grandson; several step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; and one brother, John Bazel of Leslie, Mo.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two brothers and one sister.
