Last Will and Testament of Christian Sander Sr.

In the name of God Amen.

I, Christian Sander of the Township of Franklin, County of Lee and State of Iowa, being of the age of 82 years, and sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say, first after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, the residue of my estate, real and personal, I give and bequeath, and dispose of as follows, to-wit:

To my beloved wife my real and personel property during life time and she can do as she sees fit for her support; and after her death, the residue of the property shall be equally divided amongst (or between) my lawful children namely. To my daughters Magdalene Miller, Louise Bringer, and Elizabeth Raid and to my sons Christian, Henry, William, and August, equally share and share alike.

Likewise I make constitute and appoint my son Henry, to be Executor of this my last will and testament without given bond, hereby revoking all former wills by me made. In witness whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the sixteen day of September One Thousand Nine hundred and Three.

The above written instrument was subscribed by the said Christian Sander in our presence and acknowledged by him to each of us, and he at the same time, published and declared the above instrument so subscribed to be his last will and testament, and we at the Testator's request and in his presence, have signed our names as witnesses hereto, and written opposite our names our respective places of residence.
