Looking for living relative

I am doing research on people buried in the Conn Cemetery in Iowa County, Iowa. Ellis Shallmyre/Shellmyer is buried there as is a daughter of his, Katie. Ellis died in 1875 and his wife remarried. Several children died in the 1870-1880's. Other children moved on to Kossuth and Palo Alto Counties. I am looking for a living family member to help me identify the children who died as we are trying to repair their tombstone and paint the names/dates on it.
