DEATH OF MRS. DINGLEY SR.
Resident of Algona Thirty-two Years Passes Away Wednesday After Short Illness With Pneumonia.

Mrs. Frank Dingley, Sr., passed away last Wednesday morning at her home in this city after an illness of less than one week. About three weeks ago Mr. and Mrs. Dingley left Algona for an extended visit with friends and relatives in Illinois. While at Polo both were taken ill, and and as soon as Mr. Dingley was able to travel, they returned home. Both were able to be about the house until a week ago Saturday, when Mrs. Dingley was taken with pneumonia. A nurse was secured and everything possible done but to no avail. Mrs. Dingley was born at Willimantic, Connecticut, November 3, 1836. She was married to Mr. Dingley at Windham, Connecticut, in 1869. They came to Kossuth county in 1881. Three children were born to this union, George, who died at Masonville, Iowa, in 1870 at the age of nineteen years, Mrs. Idelette Donahoo and Frank W. of Algona. Mrs. Dingley was a loving wife and mother, and her death causes profound sorrow among her friends. Much sympathy is extended to Mr. Dingley and family in their great sorrow. The funeral services were held at the home on Friday afternoon, Rev. Taylor officiating.
