From an obituary, my Great Grandfather Cyrus Gross
Rankin, died in Burt, Iowa. The day was approximately Nov 14, 1900. He was buried in Monmouth, Warren Co., Illinois. He had remarried and with his 2nd wife Emily Boyer Rankin moved to
Iowa. He engaged in the livery business while living in Burt, Iowa. He had previously been a
farmer in Illinois. Also the brother of David Rankin, who was a farmer in Iowa, Illinois, and
Missouri. Any info that is availabe, death certicate, or land records, would be appreciated.
I will pay for the costs of the said above.
