Nellie Lupin, 85, of Bancroft, dies Tuesday
Nellie Lupin, 85, Bancroft, died Tuesday morning at St. Ann hosptial following several months illness with a heart condition. Funeral services will be Friday, May 6, 2 p.m. at the First Baptist church in Bancroft, with Rev. A.W. Nelson officiating. Garry Funeral Home will have charge of arrangements and burial will be in Burt Township cemetery at Burt.
Mrs. Lupin was born Nov. 5, 1880 at National, Ia., and came to the Burt area with her parents at the age of 12. She was married to Florin Bartlett Dec. 24m, 1895 at Burt and in 1924 married Frank Lupin who died in 1945.
Survivors are a son, Rial Bartlett of Dike, Iowa and a daughter, Mrs. Cisco Gara, Citrus Heights, Calif. A granddaughter, Mrs. Bonnie Hoptry, whom she raised, of Carmichael, Calif., and a brother Earl Hudson, Lenox, and two sisters, Mrs. Leone Baker and Mrs. Hattie Schmidt, both of Algona, survive.
