Oct 4, 1907 - Algona Courier - Livermore Gazette: John Zeimet, the eight year old son of Henry Zeimet living northwest of Livermore near St. Joseph, died last Friday of blood poison. The boy was ill but a few days. A slight swelling started in the knee, which rapidly spread. Dr. Malin of this place was in consultation with Dr. Kenefick of Algona, but their combined skill failed to check the malady, and within a short time the patient became delirious and died with all the symptoms of blood poisoning, as stated above. The trouble undoubtedly started from a bruise or a scratch, of which he or his parents were unconscious at the time. The funeral services occurred at the St. Joseph Catholic church last Monday.
