June 10, 1943 - West Bend Journal - Funeral services were held last Friday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic church for Henry Zeimet, Sr., 87 years of age, one of St. Joe's oldest residents. Rev. Theobald officiated. Mr. Zeimet died May 25th.

He was born in Jackson county, Ia., Aug. 7, 1857, the second child of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Zeimet, and came to St. Joe in his early manhood. At St. Joe he met and married Mary Ehleringer on Feb. 21, 1882. The first few years they lived near Humboldt, and later moved to the St. Joe community where they have lived ever since.

Ten children were born to them. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1932. They are survived by 34 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Pall bearers at the funeral were John, Matt and Jos. Zeimet and John, Joseph and Nick Berte. — Livermore Gazette.
