Dec 24, 1964 - Kossuth County Advance - Funeral services were held for Rosa Stattelman, 74, Wednesday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic church at St. Joe with Father Schumacher officiating. Pallbearers were Herman lllg, Peter Kirsch, Harold Thilges, Emery Preston, Ed Mitchell and Kenneth Nellis. Burial was in the church cemetery with the Hamilton funeral home in charge.

Mrs Stattleman was born May 21, 1890 in St. Joe, the daughter of Veronica Heiderscheidt and John Von Bank. She was married to Joseph Stattelman on Sept. 17, 1912 at St. Joe.

Survivors include three daughters and one son: Lorna, Mrs Joe Vollmer, Bancroft; Helen, Mrs Peter Nellis, Spirit Lake; Anita, Mrs Edward M. Thilges, St. Joe; Frank, Humboldt. Also living are 19 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two sisters: Mrs Joe Schaller and Mrs Mary Origer, West Bend. Her husband died in 1944.
