June 23, 1887 - Humboldt county Independent - Miss Mary Sherman, daughter of our esteemed friends, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Sherman, of Grove township, died on Monday and was buried at St. Joseph Tuesday. A large number of mourning friends accompanied the funeral cortage to the place of burial.
