Dec 23, 1965 - Kossuth County Advance - Saturday night funeral services for Elizabeth Reding, 72, St. Joseph, were held at the St. Joseph Catholic church Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Fr. L. Schumacher officiated at the funeral mass. Mrs. Reding died Saturday evening, December 18 at St. Ann hospital. Burial was in the parish cemetery with Hamilton Funeral home in charge.

Elizabeth Reding was born May 16, 1893 at St Joseph where she lived all her life. She was the daughter of John & Lucy Schumacher Wagner. On April 20, 1920 she was married to John Reding at St Joe.

Surviving besides her husband are five sons and two daughters: Marvin, Livermore; Delmar, Algona; Maurice, Irvington; Donald, St. Joe; Edward, Irvington; Joice, Mrs. Don Illg, St. Joe; Sister Mary Madline 0. S. F. at the Holy Ghost Convent in Dubuque. One daughter is deceased.
