Dec 26, 1928 - Algona Upper Des Moines - Mrs. Mike Peffer died at Livermore Thursday and the remains were buried at St. Joe Saturday. Mrs. Peffer was born in Hungary May 12, 1853. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Peffer: Elizabeh Kramer, deceased; and Eva and Adam, who died in infancy; Mike Peffer, who lives east of Algona; Mrs. Lena Loss of this city; Miss Barbara Peffer, Mrs. Mary Schoellen, and Mrs. Louis Debe, all of Fort Dodge.

She leaves, besides the aged husband, eighteen grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Urban Lentsch of South Dakota. Mr. Peffer, Sr. will now make his home with his daughter, Mrs. Loss, in this city.
