Oct 27, 1939 - Humboldt Republican - Mrs. Margaret Link Marso was born in Luxemberg, June 12, 1855, and died at the home of her son Charles, October 22, 1939, near Hardy, at the age of eighty-four years.

She came to America when she was a young lady. She was married to Nicholas Marso in 1872. Ten children were born to this union. Six of which survive her: Mrs. Sylvester Fuhrmann, Livermore, Iowa; Casper Marso, Clara City, Minnesota; John Marso, Wabash, Wisconsin; Mrs. Christina Klepper, Harlan, Iowa; Mrs. Mary Richard, Minneapolis; Charles Marso, Hardy. Her husband died Nov 22, 1922. She is also survived by one sister, and one brother, and 17 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning Oct 24 at the St Joe church. Burial in the St Joe cemetery. Six grandsons acted as pallbearers: Edward Biosen, Albert Richard, Robert Marso, Cleo Marso, Francis Marso, and Gerald Marso.
