Dec 28, 1916 - Algona Courier - J.J. Lenertz, formerly of St. Joe, died recently at his home in Morton Park, near Chicago. The interment was made at St. Joe last week. Mrs. Lenertz was Anna Reding of St. Joe. They left St. Joe about fourteen years ago and have lived since then in Illinois. He was 52 years of age. They had no children.
