July 5, 1934 - Kossuth county Advance - St. Joe - Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic church last week Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock for Mrs. Anna Kramer, who died at 6:15 a week ago Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Lentsch. Mrs. Kramer had been in failing health the last two or three years because of heart trouble. It was not considered serious till the last week before her death. Six grandsons were pallbearers.

Mrs. Kramer's maiden name was Anna Becker and she was born Oct. 15, 1854 in Michigan. She moved with her parents to Illinois and there married Isadore Kramer October 26, 1875, at Milton. Mr. and Mrs. Kramer moved to Iowa 51 years ago and settled in this vicinity.

Twelve children, eleven of whom survive, were born. Nicholas died in 1913. Surviving children are Mrs. Theo. Besch and Mrs. John Besch, of West Bend; John Kramer, of Waseca, Minn.; Joseph Kramer, and Mrs. George Nauman, of Algona; Sebastian Kramer, Mrs. Mary Lentsch, Adam Kramer, Antone Kramer, Mrs. John Lenertz, and Mrs. John Cunningham, all of this vicinity.

After retiring from the farm Mr. and Mrs. Kramer lived in St. Joe, where Mr. Kramer died seven years ago last November 12. Three years ago in April Mrs. Kramer moved to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Lentsch, where she died.

Besides the sons and daughters, there are 55 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren surviving. All of her children except Antone were here for the funeral services.
