May 6, 1915 - West Bend Journal - On Friday occured the sad death of Mrs. John Kirsch after a very brief illess. She leaves three small children, the oldest being scarcely nine years old, besides a sorrow stricken husband overcome with grief. She had to leave a home where prosperity and happiness were beginning to reign. As a true mother, her greatest delight was in her family, but she had to answer the summons for the life that was to be.

She was born in August, 1886, being nearly twenty-nine years old at the time of her death. Mr. and Mrs. Kirsch lived on their farm nine miles east of West Bend. She was buried from St. Josephs church Monday morning.
