Jan 4, 1961 - Humboldt Republican - Funeral services for Frank Hilbert, 83, were held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the St. Joseph's Catholic church with the Rev. Leo C. Schumacher officiating. Mr. Hilbert passed away at the Mercy hospital in Fort Dodge Thursday noon where he had been a patient the past month. He had been in failing health for years. He was a lifelong member of the St. Joseph's parish.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Catherine Becker.

Surviving are four daughters, 24 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Elbert of Whittemore and a brother, Math Hilbert of Algona. The Hamilton funeral home of Algona was in charge of arrangements and burial was in the parish cemetery.
