GOOD WOMAN DEAD.
Mrs. John Geishecker passed away at her home near Livermore Monday, December 24, 1917, at the age of 60 years. She was born at Sigourny, Iowa, and came to this county in 1879 having married Mr. Geishecker in the fall of 1876. Six children were born to the union, three of whom survive the mother: Henry, John, and Mrs. Herman Platt. Kasper died at the age of twenty-four, while two passed away when quite young.

Funeral services were held at the St. Joe Catholic church, December 26, with Father Stork in charge. Interment was made in the nearby cemetery.

It is said by those who knew her that Mrs. Geishecker was a good woman, a devoted wife, and a kind and loving mother.

December 24th. - Mrs. John Geishecker, Sr., died at the home of her son, John, about five miles north of Livermore on Monday morning, December 24. Her death came suddenly, the result of heart failure, although the family had warning of her condition and it was not altogether unexpected.

Mrs. Geishecker was a splendid lady, 60 years of age and a resident of Kossuth county since 1879. Mr. Geishecker died about two years ago, and during the past year she has made her home with her son, John.

Three children are left to mourn the loss of a loving mother: Henry, John and Mrs. Herman Plathe. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Wednesday, Father Stork officiating, with a large number of friends present.
