May 13, 1919 - Bode Bugle: The sad news is received that Mrs. D.S. Capesius, died Tuesday evening, May, 3rd, at her home northeast of town. Her life had been anything but pleasant for the past nine months with the thought that she was the victim of the dread disease, diabetes, but through it all she maintained the same careful consideration for her husband and little child, and never complained. In her going she leaves, a lesson of patience and love for those with whom she has spent her life, as well as an example of purity of purpose to all.
