Two Sons Survive.Following an illness of two weeks Charles H. Devine passed away at the home of his niece, Mrs. Irene Schreiber, Algona, Tuesday evening. He had been in poor health the past two years. Burial will be in the Irvington cemetery with service at the McCullough Chapel here Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. C. C. Richardson will be in charge.
Native of Kossuth
Deceased was born and raised on a farm three miles north of St. Joe Feb. 17, 1873, and with the exception of a few years spent in the west lived in this county all his life. He was married to Nettie Telshaw and two sons, Charles and Carroll, survive. They live in the west and had not been contacted at this writing. Two brothers, William, of LuVerne, and Frank, of this City, and three sisters, Mrs. Adelia Carrell, Algona and Mrs. Clara Devine and Mrs. Nellie Goetzman, both of Pomona, Calif., survive.
