Jane Canaday/Kanaday D/O ??Bowater & Mary Russell/Canaday. Bowater Canaday, B.May 14, 1768 New Garden Meeting, Rowan/Guilford Co. NC, Mar: 1796 Mary Russell, abt 1796, Recorded in Lost Creek Monthly Meeting, Jefferson Co. TN: Condemened for Marrying contrary to Faith on Aug. 19, 1797. Bowater & Mary Canaday, must have made restoration with the Quaker Faith, for they were granted certificates to move onto other Quaker Monthly Meetings:
(1815): Lost Creek Meeting, Jefferson Co. TN to: (1816)White Water Meeting, Wayne Co. Indiana
(1817) To: West Grove Indiana Meeting (Also in Wayne Co. Indiana) remained there untill 1836.
(1836) To: Vermilion Co. Illinois
Nov. 2, 1844, To: SALEM MONTHLY MEETING, Keokuk Co. Iowa??

I would like to know if, Bowater & Mary Canaday, Died in Iowa? And if: Salem Monthly Meeting was in: Keokuk Co. Iowa?? Any further information on Bowater (aka: Boater), & Mary Canaday would be greatly appreciated, and especially if Jane Canaday was indeed a Daughter of thiers.
