Funeral Services today for Mrs. McReynolds

Funeral services will be held today at the Hopewell Friends Church for Mrs. Gertrude McReynolds, 77, who died Sunday at 5:30 p. m. at the Ottumwa Hospital where she had been a patient since last Tuesday. The Rev. Harley Yates and Chuck Hout will officiate with burial in the Richland Friends Cemetery. Gould Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McReynolds spent most of her life in Richland. She was born Dec. 27, 1896, at Greentop, Mo., the daughter of William G. and Joanna Bond Decker. She married Earl McReynolds on Feb. 9, 1921. She was a member of the Hopewell Friends Church.

Surviving is her husband and two children, Mrs. Kenneth Teeter of Rock Island, III., and Robert McReynolds of rural Richland. Also, surviving are eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. Nova Hendrickson of Keosauqua; Mrs. Gualetta Hartel of Riverside; Snowden Decker of Indianola, and Merle Decker of Fairfield.
