Lucille Louise Sherfy, 50, Huntington Beach, Calif., died Wednesday in an Anaheim, Calif., hospital after an illness of several months.

Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff and the Rev. Vernon Merkey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Sherfy was a member of the Church of the Brethren of Santa Ana and a memorial service will be held there Friday evening.

Mrs. Sherfy was born in Fairfield July 12, 1927, the daughter of Leo and Alice Johnston Emmack. She was reared here and was a graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing in Ottumwa. She was married to Samuel Sherfy Aug. 10, 1953.

Surviving are her husband, her mother, Mrs. Alice Emmack, Faifield; and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Dorothy Webb, Batavia; Mrs. Bettye Kane, Grandview, Mo.; William Emmack, Ollie; Donald Emmack, Buena Park, Calif.; Jerry Emmack, Kewanee, Ill.; and Dennis Emmack, Libertyville.
