G. W. Dobie died at his home in Sigourney, Tuesday, August 27, 1889, aged 63 years. Mr. Dobie has long been a resident of Sigourney and many of our readers were acquainted with him. He was a soldier in Co. D 13th Iowa Infrantry. The G.A.R. Post attended the funeral which took place last Thursday.
