Martha "Marty" Stout, 64, died April 20, 2002 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney.

She was born February 22, 1938 in Leon, to Leslie and Musetta Ally Epperly. She attended high school in Sigourney. She married James F. Stout on Sept. 15,1957 at the Christian Church in Sigourney. She ran the nursery at the U.S. Navel Hospital in Millington, TN. She had worked at the Sigourney Care Center until retiring in 2001. She was a member and assistant curator of the Keokuk County Historical Society and the Keswick United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Danny W. and David J.; three grandsons; two step-grandchildren; mother-in-law Dorothy Beasley; two brothers, Dean Epperly and Robert Epperly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and father-in-law Dwight Beasley.

Funeral Services will be held April 24 at 10:30 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Keswick with the Rev. Don Ridenour officiating.
