SIGOURNEY, IA - Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Salem Lutheran Church in Roland for Mayme Larson of Sigourney. Burial will be in the Roland Cemetery. Mrs. Larson, 83, died Saturday at Sigourney Care Center of complications following a stroke.

Born in Story County, she lived near Roland until 1965 and then in Ames before moving to the care center 4 1/2 years ago. She had been a homemaker.

Among survivors are a daughter, Sally Marget of Sigourney; a son, Wayne of Los Angeles; a brother, Bennie Hall of Alden; a sister, Sadie Thompson of Ames; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Soderstrum Funeral Home in Roland, where the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Tues 13 Aug 1991.
