Timothy D. Kilburn, 44, formerly Sigourney, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 1996, at his home in Des Moines.

He was born October 27, 1951, in Sigourney to Dr. Friend and Stella "Betty" Larsen Kilburn.

He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1969, and attended Parsons College and Indian Hills, Community College. He worked as a brick mason for Conner Brothers Construction for many years and then started his own business, Kilburn Masonry.

He is survived by his mother; his wife, Mary; a brother, Dr. Richard Kilburn; and two sisters, Barbara Hollingsworth and Patricia Kilburn.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14 at Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Sigourney with Rev. Frances Baumert officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Sigourney.
