Keith Kleinschmidt, 83, of Sigourney, died Wed., July 10, 1996, at his home in rural Sigourney.

He was born Oct. 20, 1912, in Sigourney, to Charlie and Edna Beasley Kleinschmidt. He married Arlene Smithart Feb. 25, 1936, at the Methodist Parsonage in Sigourney. He attended Basey country school, and served in the Air Force during World War II. He owned and operated Kleinschmidt Garage and farmed south of Sigourney. He was a member of Sigourney Christian Church and was a Sigourney Township trustee for many years.

He is survived by his wife.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The body was cremated. There will be no services.
