Don McAdams, 83, of rural Delta died Sept. 13, 1999, at his home.

He was born Oct. 29, 1915 in rural What Cheer, to William Henry and Elizabeth Anna Mack McAdams. He married Leda Fuhs in Lancaster, Mo. on Jan. 30, 1940. He was raised in the Delta area and graduated from Delta High School in 1933 and worked on the family farm and doing construction jobs in the summer until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, Steve, Tony, Dan and Pat; a sister, Marie Jordan; a brother Edward McAdams; nine grandchildren and a great-grand child.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Ward.

Services were held Sept. 17 at Harden Funeral Chapel in What Cheer with the Rev. Frances Baumert of What Cheer Christian Church officiating. Burial was in Garrett Cemetery near Delta.
