William Oliver McKeag, 79, of Delta died Sat., July 25, at Keokuk County Hospital in Sigourney.

He was born July 28, 1907, in Montezuma to William John and Minnie Walker McKeag. He was retired from the construction business, and had lived most of his adult life in Delta. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He married Helen B. Rayburn on June 25, 1939 in Bloomfield.

He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Janet McKeag, Claudia Spondholtz, and Linda Green; two grandchildren; four sisters, Hazel Boomershine, Pauline Bensler, Alice Kriese and Margaret White.

Funeral services were held on Tues., July 28 at 11 a.m. at Harden Funeral Chapel in What Cheer, the Rev. Duana Light officiated. Burial was in Garrett Cemetery near Delta.
